Parents and Teenagers

It has been noticed that secondary school students aged between 13 and 15 underperform or drop out of school. This coincides with behavioural problems both at school and at home.

These problems are common in adolescence because of growing physical and emotional needs different to the needs in childhood. Teenagers have more complex needs and parents should be aware of them in order to help teens to successfully continue their academic education.

This is the reason why we try to inform and train parents to develop their parental skills, in order to develop a positive home environment conducive to learning.
